So I was out doing some yard work and forgot to wear gloves, now I've got this blister under my middle finger on the inside of my hand. It hurts and is very annoying, I'm not sure exactly what to do since I never have gotten one before... Should I pop it? Because it looks clear. Any advice is much appreciated.

I also heard that they form calluses and I'd prefer not to get one.

Pop it and drain all the fluid out tomorrow it will be a hard calice.

Dont worry man. You'll be fine. :) just put a band aid or something around it. If it doesn't heal in 2 or 3 days call your doctor for advice.

So wash it, put a bandaid and neosporin directly on without popping it, and it will just go away? Will anything remain?

Dont pop it; it'll take longer to heal. Just throw a band aid on it and wait.

A lit of people dont recomnwnd popping them but If you are going to pop it go in thru good skin and actually put the needle thru the base of the blister not the top. This will allow the fluid to drain when it has pressure applied. Allows the blister to still do its job. I believe no matter what you do a minor callous will form. Big callouses form if you continue to do yard work with office hands and no gloves. As for callouses use a hand cream and it will disappear. Cheers

First off, do not pop it. That will make everything you touch with your hand burn because under the blister is "fresh" skin. Just go along with it, it will swell down. Calases(however you spell it) aren't a bad thing. Calsases show that youre a working man.

Just leave it. By needling it you risk infection. Give it a few days and it will go away.

Don't pop it just leave it be the fluid will give your new skin a chance to get stronger. But if you do it will just burn.

Idk but I golf a lot and often get blisters. I leave em alone and don't even put band aids or anything anywhere and they heal quick. As long as you havent come in contact with a possible biological danger then you're fine.
