  I want to learn and am looking for a tutor. I have no experience using CMD or .bat but want to learn. Looking for someone who can: 
 Tutor me in the syntax
 Teach me what the various commands do
 Provide examples of how to do sertain things
 Set me similar tasks

  .bat is a windows batch file. To make one you just open notepad, type the directories etc. and save as a .bat file

  Pretty much what Pablo said. Search for 'Windows CLI commands' or something and there are exhaustive pages on the topic.

  But nothing on the syntax, plenty of commands but no syntax

  It doesnt have a syntax really... Or it's very logical. 
 Just put the commands in a notepad and change the extention into .bat.
 For the rest I learned it from googling, so I bet ya you can too 😁

  Yeah. What everyone is saying is basically true. Not really syntax with batch files or config sys files.

  Cygwin. If you have to use Windows, at least pretend to have a functional scripting environment.

  Don't bother with batch files. Use kixtart, autoit or powershell.
