I just had a $2360 copay for dental work so I won't be heading anywhere for a long long time.

I'm still going to show at 6 or maybe a little before...being as it's a Saturday night, they get pretty busy and they're hooking us up with our own area, probably upstairs; hopefully it's the Wii lounge!
I already set up 6 pm with the general manager there & he's going to be around at that time to make sure we're taken care of...I don't think he sticks around too late on Saturdays.
I really wouldn't worry about being a little late; I doubt everyone will show up precisely at 6 and I at least plan to be out late...

I'm staying w/ my stepmom in La Jolla. Probably shouldve chosen to stay at my dad's by state- it's a bit closer. Oh well.

But the Padres are out of town for the weekend, so there should be plenty of parking within a 6-8 block radius, especially that early on a Saturday. So I would recommend trying the street first. It will be tough ti find anything near Tipsy, but if you go 5-6 blocks north on 5th or 6th near Ash, there's always spots open.

Those of you parking at your hotel...be prepared for at least $30/night for valet. I usually advise my friends to drop their crap off at the hotel, then go find street parking somewhere; if it's a metered day, I have a parking pass for my neighborhood for free parking & everything is within walking distance.

There is a hotel that's a couple blocks away and is cheap, but only has double beds. That's nit gonna work. So I think we're going with the horton. Luckily my wife has a disabled placard, don't have to pay at meters and most valets are free as well
