One of my friends is a tester and is going to jailbreak my 3GS new bootrom tomorrow for me on ios4 .4.1 cannot be jailbroken at all so you have to back up your firmware on tiny umbrella look for dinos videos on you tube

If you want to jailbreak stay on 3.1.3 don't update to 4.1 the 3.1.3 jailbreak is very stable mine lasted ages and my friends are all still jailbroken on it from spirit but mine fucked up and had to restore because I never restored before I jailbroke it silly me then I put on 4.0 by mistake which is irreversible !

Well I updated the software to 4.0 so does that mean i can never jailbreak it ??? Can I downgrade it back to 3.1 ???

Be patient a Jailbreak for IOS 4 will come out.

You can't jailbreak yet but the new software is in testing and will be with us in the next couple of weeks from ih8snow you can't reverse it backt to 3.1.3
Whatever you do don't update to 4.1 without backing up your firmware check the video by
