Im buyin 3gs tomorrow off someone on craigslist, and I have sprint. So i need know how much it is a month before i switch over to at&t. Anybody know?

Depends. It use to be 30 but now they have varying plans based on usage. Be careful not to go over. They are not unlimited anymore unless you already had an account

Mine is 22 for unlimited text and unlimited mins but that's because both my parents belong to unions and we got a good plan and a huge discont

Just jail break it and you can still use sprint, so I've heard. The government announced thus past Monday it is not illegal to jail break your iPhone.

Jailbreaking will not allow to use another network you need to unlock your phone to do that

If you unlock the phone and sprint has a sim card yes. But, you will not be able to use mobile data or visual voicemail or mms etc etc.

You can't use sprint. If you unlock the phone the only other US provider you can use is tmobile.

Yeah the iPhone uses AT&Ts GSM network. Tmobile uses GSM also but there 3G is on a different spectrom then AT&Ts 3g. So the iPhone on tmobile can only use tmobiles EDGE network which is slower. The iPhone isn't possible to use on verizon or sprint because theres no sim card. The CDMA and EVDO networks that verizon and sprint use don't use sim cards.
