Over the past week I decided to play the map. I capped some 60 turf from near as many people, randomly, between every city I'm in. I was was expecting better results but this study, I'm afraid was a failure.
(please note, these few people are the only responses I recieved)

Almost Every day the forums bring people crying and swearing and general ballistics about losing a turf. I was testing a hypothosis....
Conclusion is inconclusive at this time, though Im leaning tworss what we already know as,

A month ago tried something with the V forum. I looked at every post and the ones that were made wrong I smashed 1 turf than wrote a warning message along the lines of go fix your V thread including mob weapons etc or I will smash all of your turf.
I got added to a V
I got invited to a V
I got ignored a lot!
And not 1 thread was ever fixed.
Lol waste of time.

When somebody caps me I respond on the map. If I'm unable to respond in that fashion I just let it go.

I got similar responses recently...except for one seriously foul mouth racist (who no longer has turf anywhere near mine).
Re: maddhatter, my only requirement was people switch to blue turfs for Sara's benefit...so-so response...so far. Hmm...I've seen Bruenors name somewhere recently near me... :)

Really? People in my area take it so personaly. Even players that aren't involved feel the need to jump in. Like some guys threatening war for my actions 2 months ago, its fun out here 😊

This is awesome. People are always jumping my balls about taking turf. When I get capped I usely send a message saying, "awesome job, didn't see you coming."
