I'm living in Austria and I never heard of this. That sounds really strange O.o (though I admit not much stranger than jägermeister + Red Bull...)
The only thing I really mix beer with is cola. But I don't drink a lot of beer anyway.

I don't put anything in my beer. The occasional lemon or orange slice in a wheat, the rare chelada with tomato juice, but that's about it. Call me a purist, I don't go messing with a good thing.
