He was 91. He's earned his rest🌹.
Any thoughts should be in Celebration of his life. Read some of his books and enjoy the magic of dreams and imagination that was his gift to the world.

This is a quote from Bradbury in a CNN article.
"In my later years I have looked in the mirror each day and found a happy person staring back." he wrote in a book of essays published in 2005. "Occasionally I wonder why I can be so happy. The answer is that every day of my life I've worked only for myself and for the joy that comes from writing and creating. The image in my mirror is not optimistic, but the result of optimal behavior."

Wow. Shocked for some reason. He's my favorite non-serious author. Great fun to millions from all his stories (huge number going way back to early pulp magazine days.)

He strongly belived in an 'out there' and to humankind's ongoing evolution and success even when facing self imposed stupidity (tv etc) and anhialation.

Glad to have met him in 86 and discussed some of his greatest stories.
