Question about China

My fiancee is in China now and she can't access her Facebook account, she said something about the government prohibited it. Is anyone here from China or know somethig about it? I think it is pretty cool to know about other cultures and stuff

Yes fb is blocked in 2009 when I was there, and google too. But believe it or not, our gov blocks out some websites too. Some are other countries some are us websites.

Chinas gv is abit affraid about us western countries to take their secrets prob since what britian did in the 1800 when they made india take over their Tea industrie

Why would the gov do something dangerous to a tourist? But it is good to becareful with pick pocketing in crowed places. I had a purse with no zipper with me last time. i know that they turned of a swedish persons phone cus of "to many bad messenges" since she was typing in swedish.

At least she is not writing anything bad about the country, she is actually really enjoying her time there, she is getting used to people stopping here on the streets and asking to take pictures with her, lol! -
