Pregnancy And the NHS😓

So 13 weeks ago me and my partner found out she was pregnant, first we were very worried and had no idea what to do, we decided to keep the baby as it would be the best decision we would ever make... Anyway...
Yesterday around 3pm my partner was complaining about an excruciating pain in her abdomen and her stomach, so we rang the NHS and they Advised us to go straight to A&E..... 3 hours of waiting and the out of hours gp said it wasn't anything serious and prescribed her some painkillers.
We came home and around ten minutes later he was throwing up excessively and the pain had gotten worse so we took a trip back.
Arrived there around 7/8 and didn't get seen till 11, they then decided to set her on a bed, test her blood and urine for any infections (takes around an hour or more to test) and also put her on a drip. At around 12/1 they set her up in the maternity ward to stay over night so they could examine her more carefully and do more tests.

Just came back from visiting her today and there is no infection and they can't find the problem, she's still on the drip and being administered several pain relief medicines. She has to stay over tonight a they're giving her a scan in the morning to check the baby(her first one)
As I saw her today I almost cried, she's white and wrapped up with a tube coming from her hand. I was going to vent my anger in because of the poor prior service from the doctors but I'm too tired. Hope everyone could please pray that her and the baby are ok.

I'm very sorry for your situation. I'm praying that everything turns out okay. Good luck.

Thanks everyone. I wouldn't normally post personal info like this on TW but every prayer counts. Have to go back in half an hour. I find it aggrivating that I have to leave her in that state due to visiting hours.

😰🙏 get better please..

My gf and I had some scary moments during her pregnancy. All worked out though! Praying for you guys! Wish you best.

First off, congratulations on the baby! I applaud you and your partner for deciding to keep the baby! That is never an easy decision to make. I got pregnant with my oldest when I was 19 and did it all without the father. Thankfully, I have a wonderful mom! You two will not regret your decision. Babies are a true joy!
All that being said, I will be keeping the 3 of you in my thoughts. Please keep us updated on her and the babies status. -
Cast our cyrcle, praying for your girl and baby

IMO there's no need to say "I'm not religious". Just give the person your best wishes. Course I have done this before myself but only if the thread took a strong religious tone and I doubt in my current forum maturity I would do itNot religious but would if I was.
Hope your baby's ok, both of em😂 -

Dehydration def kept my 64 year old mother in the hospital for almost 2 weeks. It makes sense if it's a side effect for some pregnant women. I hope everything turns out okay for you and yours.Mr.DoDg3 wrote:

Thanks everyone means a lot at the moment! Just got back from visiting, had the scan and the baby's fine, a few other problems have appeared on the scan but I won't be posting about it due to keeping it personal, she's doing fine tho.
Thanks everyone again for showing a lot of support.

Glad to hear the news. Stay strong, you'd be amazed how much they just want you there supporting them.

Thanks for the comment hyena. It does make her a lot happier when I'm there. She may be in till next week.
Taking a short break from TW, posted on my wall reasons. Any messages that I don't reply back to - thank you :)
