Alliances?

What are your experiences with being a member of an alliance? I've only had one, very negative alliance experience, which is why I'm hesitant to try again. I've had a couple offers, but I'm just not sure.... But I don't know how easy it is to get anywhere flyin' solo, either.

Opinions anyone?

I've always flown solo. I'll take good friends over some person who wears the same tags as me any day.

People fly solo all the time ! Alliances are an option.
