Fastest you've ever driven on public roadway?

  135 ish (didn't want to look too long at the speedo), M1 north, in a mercedes E350 diesel. Felt like it was hardly moving.

  It will get there. Mines been there when I wasn't in it. WAY TOO MUCH air goes under the car at those speeds. At 155 it feels too uncomfortable to continue. An air dam and skirts make a huge difference so I'm told.

  I have had both stock and then a highly modified base WRX and the STi. The sti really did a lot better than my highly modded wrx at high speeds, we did a trip with both of them to southern Cali. Grapevine sucked in a high performance stick shift. But yes, an aird am and canards make a massive difference. Also a rear extension helped out amazingly also.

  184 on a GSXR 1000 motorbike, as a passenger. The guy who was driving said it would normally max out at 186 if I weren't on the back (literally hanging on)

  His dad had a modified Suzuki Hayabusa 1300 that maxed at around 220!! (I didn't ever get on that thing though!)

  205km/h (just shy of 130mp/h) when I borrowed a mate's car.
  Mind you, it was a stock Toyota Camry, front wheel drive drive family car. Got pretty light at that speed, and was revving at ~5.5k when I hit the brakes for an intersection.

  135 in Crown Victoria Police Interceptor. It started to feel real light so backed off it had plenty more though.

  When I was in Germany I rented a BMW and tore up and down the autobahn, but I don't remember how fast. Too long ago.

  I will never forget driving back from Octoberfest in Munich after dark. I looked in my rearview mirror and saw no lights. A few seconds later I looked again and saw lights far behind me but coming fast. I looked down at the speedometer and was going 120 mph in my chevy Corsica. When I looked back up the car passed us up and the wind coming off it rocked my little car. Because it was dark and the car was moving so fast I have no idea what it was. That had to have been a badass ride though.

  I don't know. Not sure if it's the regular high speeds or the car I drive but at 140+ I don't really notice how fast I'm going. Really doesn't feel any faster than 90mph.

  Not sure about anyone else's post but I ran Rockwall to Downtown Dallas in 9 min. For those not close to Dallas it is about 30 miles. All of it on video.
