me too, thanks. right now, not even our hot water is working! Insurance doesn't cover flooding, but I hope it covers 'sewer and sump pump failure'.

Damn sorry to hear this.. If the sump broke I doubt ur gunna find another. Just get a wet vac and rigg it up to drain outside that's what i hada do. Jersey got hit BAD too this year. My basement still stinks. Hey put it this way.. shit happens. Besides atleast u didn't find ur puppy swimming in the basement.. She was a champ

ummm. Not a lot of little things. But there is the washer/dryer, hot water, furnace, etc.

nah, sump pump didn't break. Power went out and backup couldn't do the job. When the power came back it pumped out all the water after several hours ... But the damage has been done.

yep once water touches where it shouldn't it's done! I just replaced my water heater in dec' now it's leaking.
