Put do that musical bachlors to work! Taking tutors , that is grate idea. Do reserch in your area on how much to charge and dont undercharge. Parents with blooming percussion prodigies wouldd much rather have them practice somewhere else! Lol
Get a small band and find a local repeating gig even if its onse a month.

And dont give up!!! Look for a job as if it IS your job! Raiku is right. Plow through. Put out a goal of aps a day. 20 a day. 50 a day.

My friend has a similar degree, he joined the Australian Army Band. After a little getting used to the change he loves it now and has gone from Private to officer in 4 years and is now a Captain and commanding officer of a reserve army band ( he is 1 of 2 full time army allocated to the command of the unit).

If you enjoy working with alcohol, you should stay in that field. Start brewing your own stuff discover a good blend get a license. Then market it as a gourmet hand crafted local brew. Just an idea?
