So we were talking about the guy who was eating that guys face in class and we eventually got to talkin about zombies so we looked it up and this came up http://www.cdc.gov/phpr/zombies.htm

Yeah, I had heard they did that. They also use Zombie attacks as a base model for how diseases are likely to spread across the globe. Different incubation periods have different results.

I read an interview with the director of CDC back when they first published that. Idk the link. But they did this to catch the attention of all the zombie obsessed kids. It's basically the same emergency procedure for all major outbreak disasters. Making it about a zombie outbreak was just to make sure kids read it.
