“1. Tell me a little about yourself.

2 kids, defacto partner, mortgage. Member of the "boyfriends of girlfriends who hate TurfWars" and the "Yawn Movement" (one can never get enough sleep and TurfWars should not interrupt it)

2. What's your secret (besides the usual "mob up and shut up" stuff).

Don't know that it is a secret, but treat people the way you would like to be treated. Then again there are some players who treat people like shit, those players I believe therefore want to be treated like shit.

3. How did you get your name?

“My name is an abbreviated nickname I was given playing Warcraft 3, Warchief Hyena, for my aggressive approach and my evil laugh as my minions cut a swarth through my enemies. Coming to this game I chose to drop the Warchief as I thought it was antagonistic to players who were already here, but I like the Hyena, a mean beast who have been known to fight off a pride of lions. Much underestimated they are smart and work in packs using team tactics and strategies to defeat much larger opponents.”

4. How do you feel about the TW community (reasonable, overrated, etc)?

A reflection of society, a great multi cultural melting pot, the forums can however be dominated by the English, Americans, Canadians and Aussies. Would be great if more players from other countries had their say. ”

Diplomacy, and relationships. If you are on good terms with players they are more likely to discuss grievances than take them out on you on the map. Smaller players who are racist, homophobic, abusive or on capping a spree hitting inactives will however be dealt with appropriately.

6. Anything to say to nick?

Thanks for the game, just wish the mods could give more information when you are suspended. Finding the post I was done for took 8 hours and was a couple of days old. If they could give date, time and forum and title of thread of offence it would be easier to see/remember what mistake was made. I post a bit here and there so sometimes it is hard to remember what I said.

It is Turf Wars, fighting is a part of it, but not the be all and end all. If that were the case it would be Turf Battles. Wars include fighting, diplomacy, strategy, negotiations, alliances, cease fires and peace treaties.

Your word is everything in this game. Play honorably, there are good guys and bad guys in RL, Movies and TurfWars. You can be the bad guy if you want but be honorable in your actions.
