I saw this one cat in the Guy Savoy in Vegas who looked like he was. Needless to say, I didn't bother to ask him.

I met a guy thts like 40 that lived in boston or detroit and was friends w this one guy and everybody was so nice to him.. Then he learned that his dad was in the mafia

Supposedly the guy that owned a restaurant next my work was part of the Mexican mafia.
One of my customers supposedly was in a Lebanese mafia.

A friend of mine lives in Chicago and he goes to this bar every Wednesday and has a group of guys who he smokes cigars with and one that he was talking to was kind of a big guy and was saying something about the FBI trying to pin a car bombing on him and my friend jokingly says it could never have been you because you're so fat you could never have gotten off the ground by yourself after putting the bomb under the car. And they all laughed but after the man got up and had walked away another guy at the table was like do you have any idea who you just insulted? And apparently he was a pretty high ranking member of the Chicago outfit. But I can't for the life of me remember the name of the guy. My friend has met a few others too. Says they are surprisingly really nice guys if you're on their good side.

I remembered the name it was John (pudgy) Matassa Jr. If you google him a few things come up.
