If we cared we would ask

I just started getting into it a few months ago. Currently on my bulking phase. Hating the way I look since I've never been this big, but my diet has been very strict and clean, and I'm excited to see the results. Do you compete?

I've only been body-building for 2 years, but it's begun to show more recently...Charming, eh? 💪
-
About 10 years, its a love/hate relationship 💪😡👊
-
I wouldn't say I'm a body builder but these last few months I've hit the weights hard at the gym. results are showing but my diet is slowing me down a little as I'm trying to bulk up more and I just don't eat enough. 😔
-
With regards to supplements...I take whey protein twice a day (before and after workout) and a weight gain supplement once a day before I sleep.

Why the hell would you body build?
-
Make yourself stronger, look better, be healthier, something to do, feels good to achive something...

When people hear the word body building they automatically assume heavy weight, iron lifting, huge, swollen men working out. But body building itself is a very well deep-rooted sport and has many categories for men and women in respect to their own sizes.
Body building could also just mean going to the gym, lifting weights, and trying to have a good physique or live a healthy lifestyle. And trust me, anybody could do it. Working out is the easiest part, it's what you eat that matters. You'll be surprised to see your result by just being careful with what you eat.
And I think that's a very rhetorical question General. Might as well ask anybody why the hell they would want to exercise. -

Take your time, don't rush, watch vids and ask other builders at the gym how to do which body parts you want to do. Form is the key when it comes to building and not damaging any part of your body.

ATI I have respect for that, some people go gym for a couple of weeks or couple of months and give up but to keep it going for 5-6 years is really goodIv been bodybuilding for 5-6 years

Yep, dont go down the 'pile lots of weights on' route. Take your time, because you are starting out you should see good results in weeks.🔰Ꮴιํииγ🔰 wrote:

AMEN! Start slow to prevent injury. Your body knows more about getting into shape than other people do. -

WRONG! Weight-bearing exercise is any physical activity in which your body works against gravity. It simply means that your feet and legs are supporting or carrying your weight. This type of exercise builds bone mass in youth and maintains it in adulthood. Some examples of weight-bearing exercises include walking, racquet sports, team sports, dancing and climbing stairs. Muscle strengthening exercises build muscle that helps support your bones. Lifting weights, using resistance bands and exercising on resistance machines are ways to strengthen muscle. -

Take the pain over time...Don't wear yourself down 100%...Do enough to be effective, but not so much that you'll be too sore to work-out tomorrow. Hope this helps! 👍I want to get into body building this summer. Any tips on what not to do?

Thanks guys. This summer I want to focus on slimming down (I want my abs showing) and definition mainly.

Ever heard of Braggs 'Mother' Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV)? I recommend you read into it.
Also, drink PLENTY of water. It dramatically increases your metabolism. -
Take care of your shoulders. Do rotator cuff exercises from day 1. Once you hurt a shoulder it'll never be the same.

Summer Goal: 7% BF, 500 lb bench by End of August.
Supps: Fish oil, Multivitamin, D3, Cissus, Liver Support, Whey, Casein and White Flood preworkout.
