How is it determined? It seems arbitrary to me. Sometimes when I fight players lower level than myself I get points, and sometimes when I fight people higher level than I am, I get 0.

The amount of xp you get is based on how close the fight was, if you get 0xp you are way stronger than them, if you get 6xp you are more evenly matched and might loose some fights.

This should be in help forum not GD. But to answer your question I think if you attack anyone who is a higher level than you it's always 2 exp until you attack them too many times in a day. For the 4,5,6 exp per attack I believe it is based on how closely matched your attack vs their defense is.
