Lol where I live I can't afford anything at 8 dollars an hour and 3 jobs. 😒 I get enough extra for my carton of smokes every two weeks. That's pretty much it.

My first job I made min wage.....$2.85 per hour

$10.25 in B.C, probably have close to the highest housing costs on the planet. Ridiculous insurance rates, $1.44 a liter(times 3.78 for a gallon). Taxman has us balls deep to boot, could be a good indicator as to why were the drug Mecca of North America.

If the fuel companies would lower gas prices down to 2.00 a gallon the economy would flourish people would spend more elsewhere but it will never happen because the CEOs need their 1000000 plus a year salaries and the little people or working class suffer , here in NY the min wage is 7.25 I can barely afford to survive it sux

Not sure how it compares in dollars but I think in the uk it's about £6 an hour, petrol has gone upto £1.65 a litre double what it was 3 years ago. I make just over £20 an hour and still find it hard because food, petrol etc has gone up so much these last few years things are double what they were 3 years ago. Respect to those living on minimum wage.
