Real name: David, Dave for short.

Age: 19

How long have you been playing turfwars for?: I've asked support several times but they never replied. I began either late November or early December 2011.

When was your firsts capo?: I became capo of my (then) hometown within about a day and a half of playing TW. I'm no longer capo because a newb that I've been helping has flourished and stolen leadership. I suppose the mob preffers him as leader 😞😉

What has been the worst time for you during your time at turfwars?: I assume you mean my worst TW moment. Possibly majorly pissing people off in the forums on several occasions. I'm a people-person, and I tend to get too talkative. I'm just overly friendly, and sometimes I have to pull myself up. I just put myself on a 72 hour forum ban about 15 minutes ago. It's good for everyone's health lol.

What has been your greatest achievement in turfwars?: My greatest achievement in TW: mobbing up to cap somebody I considered a bully. He's pretty much the only reason I have 6.5k+ mob lol. Oh, and I believe he's quit. Talk about DBR lmao

Who do I feel is the best player on turfwars: I really don't want to point my finger at anyone. I respect many players, for different reasons. Swagger, is one of my biggest TW roll models, simply because he rickrolled me good and proper 😜👍

What would I like to achieve in the community: I have many friends. Friends are epic. I've got everything I need in this community: mates, dual identities, i've earned a small degree of respect ... I'm cool with my current status. I haven't earned anything more yet anyhow 👍✌

Are you know and respected by a lot of players?
>I can safely say that I am known by many players. As far as being respected is concerned, I feel that I have only truly gained the respect of maybe three or four, and not all of these are active in the forums.

•What would you like to achieve during your time in the turfwars community?
>I'd like to achieve a position where I am well respected, both on the forums, and as a serious player with at least average skill on the map. As far as the respect in the forums is concerned, I have my ups and my downs. I tend to have a couple of threads that are hits, and I get carried away and end up destroying the good thing I had going 😳😁
On the map, I haven't had the time, the RL $$ or the chance to prove myself as such. Hopefully, I'll be able to begin punching again sometime in the next month (change of living situation impending), and that should definitely help. I also intend on upgrading my profile ... RL money situation willing lol.

What would you like the turf wars community to do for you during your time here?
>I don't feel that the community owes me anything as yet. I have not given the community any reason to begin giving me anything.
I'll tell you a little story.
There was this guy that began playing a GPS based war game. He became well known, for his wit and his ability to make a joke of anything or, when the time came, to be sympathetic and helpful.
He grew cocky quite quickly: and within months of beginning to play, he regarded himself as a good player, despite having zero reason for thinking so.
Then one day, another player beat the crap out of him, severely damaging his ego and his game status (though nobody else knew of this occurrence).
He thought about what the other player told him, and he realized that he needed to rethink his strategy on playing. So, he decided to be less of a socialite, and concentrate on playing the game, rather than talking about playing it...
He (me) learned his lesson.

Do you feel the current updates are for the best or worst?
>I assume you are talking about the game updates (namely the map display of turfs) ... I've not really had a serious issue, but I know that many other players seriously dislike them.
I cannot say really, whether they're good or not. It doesn't bother me 😏

•What five things would you say to a noob if you had a chance?
>I think you're talking about newb here. I generally welcome them, and give them a few tips before asking them to message me if they have any questions. I also give them a short list of other helpful players to contact.
Noobs, on the other hand, I generally joke around with a bit (a noob has normally been playing for a while, IMO) and either grow to like them, or grow to dislike them. Lol.

What would you recommend them to do to become a lot better?
>When giving a newb advice, I generally simply advise them to mob up. I explain what the aim of the game is, where to find the help forums, and I generally try to advise them on what to spend their skill points on.

It's different for each newb, depending on how long they've been playing. I try to give advise that applies directly to their situation, besides obviously giving them the above pointers (mob, skill points etc.)

Johnny, it's actually a player that I don't like at all, but I have newfound respect for despite my dislike. He had maybe 1/4 my mob when I first met him, and he's now overtaken me and wupped my arse lol. I did only have 6.5k Kevlar equipped though 😏
