A solar eclipse is when te moon passes in front of the sun, blocking its rays. This wont be a full one in Danville but up at Chico it will fully pass over the sun.

Its apparently going to cover 82 percent of the sun here in Portland. It might be cloudy though. I hope I can see it.

Yes im VERY excited haha... This is the most coverage anyone in california will see until 2071. I will likely be dead by then so i better chck it out today :)
