I used to be the same way. I understand it and I think it's ok.

You are young, and when girls are involved the cave man comes out.

I had a friend up against the wall and I was cocked for a punch after he tried to step on my shoe heel when walking with a girl in high school. Kinda happened before I knew what was going on. It scared me.

Another friend I had a knife out at his throat when I found out he slept with my girl... Again, before I knew what was happening.

That was like 35 years ago, and it never happened again. I wouldn't hurt a mouse. I was just young and hopped up on hormones and teen problems.

Agreed. Very fitting and sets a great foundation for people's stereotypes. Sounds like your girlfriend is a piece of work if she has friends that will treat you that way. You are who you associate with. I recommend finding a new crowd to hang out with before you or someone else ends up another statistic.
