Allow me friends to give you a tour pf my gallery of same of the rarer masterworks, copies, the downright bad and some degenerate pieces......
Set against an expansive background where one can see the city of Madrid, the sitter, with a saucer of milk under his right paw, looks out at the viewer through large all seeing eyes. The bell around his neck heightens rather than diminishes the scar and suggests that this cat is a veteran. The painting seems to reflect a scholar as opposed to the cat.The grey-blue tones of the background evoke distance but not aloofness. The grouping of heavily foliated trees in the middle distance loan a way of sorts to bridge the gap.Under closer inspection, one can find a large group of friends under the trees making merry with rum and toasting the sitter. An outcast, possibly a leper, peers malevolently from a small bush stripped of its riches. The painting is titled Mr.Big Cat. -
Tonight I shall be presenting some of the finer works: Hyena, Messrine,Turfa,Grimm, RaiKou,OTB,Bruenor to mention but a few.

A great description of the painting Mr Big Cat. I am humbled to be included in such august company.

It's me !!!! I have never been Described as a work of art before lol

Vish... My playa!!
You'll need to account for the character limit when describing the finer details of the Knight piece. There are a lot of delicate subtleties within the work which deserve very detailed appraisal!
The fragility of mans very mortal existence is a fundamental part to the piece. This is often overlooked By many critics and is a major factor and inspiration of the work.

Messrine is portrayed as a young man who holds a book and he sleeps in the shade of a laurel bush. Both imply that the protagonist is a poet.Ge is richly clad yet it is the near empty bottle of rum that attracts our attention. His gaze is at once reticent, intense, flippant and sensual. If the eyes could move, they would probably be cock-eyed too.All these convey the complexities of the sitter.

With a vast landscape stretching in the background with a winding road punctuated by many small hamlets ,Hyena is shown as a prophetic figure that points a finger into the air as almost an accusation. It seems to breathe authority and his brow is furrowed as if to chastise us on some misdemeanor. It is an intelligent face that has seen much.If you manage to pull your eyes away from such an arresting gaze, you will notice a map with many coloured circles on it that is clutched by a powerful hand.
-
In the next painting we have a colossus that stands with a foot pressed onto a troll's back.Under a nearby bridge are some cowering trolls. The painting is done in dark colours and the source of light would appear to come from the ground giving Grimm a hard, dramatic visage. But the face shows great dignity and the eyes seem to smile at some private joke whilst the hands press down on a luckless troll's head with the fingers cutting away at its protruding tongue.
-
Next we have a remarkable portrait in oil of a remarkable person.Done in bold colourful brushstrokes, the work reflects the sitter in its bold originality. The head is in profile and the shoulders are thrown back. His gaze is piercing and thoughtful. He sports a great beard and is armoured. All would point to a painting from the early 1500s but this idea can be soon forgotten for nestled in the beard you can just about spy a miniature van with "pimp wagon" written on its side.

I love this thread

A youth seems unaware of our inspection in the next on our tour as he contemplates another just like him.The face is of one half-amused and vital. The forehead is long depicting much brains housed within. The figure broods on the meaning of the visitor's appearance and has pen and paper on the ready. The painting is titled: Turfa confronts Turfa.

Wow, great read, I never would have seen myself as such an imposing figure.

We quickly move on to the next in our series,a painting of a woman carousing with her can of beer.If the painting had sound we'd probably hear some dirty and original ditties indeed! RaiKou seems to have drunk herself into semi-reality.The can has been painted as something near transparent which only heightens the solidity of RaiKou.The look of joy and abandon on her face is tempered by the quiet intelligent glint in her eyes. She sits in front of a tree that keeps her from being spotted by the group of nude young maidens soaping themselves up down by the lake (sic).

Sara is painted with no background nor setting. This young girl turns towards us,the viewer, and is bathed in a beautiful light. Her paleness is offset by the strength of the aura that radiates from her.The gold chain and pendant with pearl would suggest a richness in character.A note is in her hand and reads wizoo.A truly beautiful work that touches everyone.
-
Baron Von Fritz is presented as Pierrot with a tear in his eye. This contradicts the smile painted onto his face. Blah, blah bla bla blah...... But I have heard many a person comment that the work was charming.
-
I like the descriptive techs you use.
It's also made me view people differently. -
The heroic figure of OTB is next. His step is large and it is one of purpose. The landscape seems to flatten under his feet and his shadow is that of a bull depicting natural strength.Money spills from his pockets and seems to roll towards bent over figures possibly depicting charity and certainly humility. It is only on close inspection that you realize the minor detail of the missing thumb. But this seems to add gravitas to the masterpiece.
-
Set against a striking grey sky,NewfieBullet is presented to us as a pirate captain with the remnants of a stuffed parrot taped to his shoulder which he scowls at.A thick narrow blue line at the base of the painting denotes the sea.He is dressed in some finery that suggest high social status but this is tempered by the staining and dirt under his nails that attest to his honesty.
-
Depicted as a monk staring towards the heavens we can discern the likeness of Lawrence. His vow of one of mob punching. We can tell this by following the letters on each of his beads. It is a powerful piece done in sepias with flashes of ultranarine blue from each bead and is an unfinished piece.

The Gallery exhibits the next piece thanks to the permission of the kind misfit owners of the TW house:
Standing amongst all the furniture,a sumptuously dressed woman stares out at the viewer. She holds an iPod in one hand and pointing to it with the other.
The lighting on the woman and her pose direct our eyes to the lower left of the canvas. Here is a code list written in a fine hand that a graphologist could tell you comes from a wise, balanced and deep person. The parapet lying deep in shadow alludes to strength with its pennant a representation of virtue.Fellow turfers,I present you Mystery. -
The next picture is quite extraordinary. It shows Bruenor ar his moment of triumph with axe in hand towering over what looks like a thief with an iPod.He looks down at his cringing foe with dispassion and the viewer knows only too well what'll happen next due to Bruenor's poise.

This is a sexy post.
-
Belial,a god of war is depicted stooped over a powerfully muscled victim held as a mannikin in his mighty grip.Belial's eyes are baleful and is mouth is a darkened cavern where one might expect an eruption of vulcanic proportions. The dull sheen to this titanic figure's eyes allude to a loss of appetite.
-
Hanging over the latrines and allowed to subject to up-splash we encounter the scratchings of a loon.Scrawled in excrement we can discern the visage of Mr.Mooby.Visitors are inspired to void themselves on seeing his face which is devoid of a forehead.Eyes-eyebrows and then flattened cow-pat hair.
-
Bad Bean is painted in bright striking colours that emanate fro his head.On closer inspection you are amazed at the detail for the background us made up of words in gold leaf.Colours are as fireworks and columns of red and blue criss cross the work possibly showing passion but open to argument for it is a hard work to fathom and stumps even the experts. But all agree that it is an original work and of some force.Abstract and figurative,it is already a favourite with the audience.
-
Depicted as a scholar, teacher and warrior sitting in a large chamber where the ceiking is lost to darkness we can admire Free Mason next. The face painted with minute cross hatchings betrays an intelligence and is with clever one.tge eyes are furtive and give away nothing. An innovative work,The protagonist is surrounded by many admirers who clamber to him and seek his council and are blessed for it.The sitter obviously commands much loyalty.
