Do you think we have a purpose in life? Or is it all just random occurrences? If yes, what do you think your purpose is?
-
That's too deep for me to answer.

Ive established this before. The meaning is good food and sex.

Life is what you make of it that is what make it great. In the end it does not matter what you thought or others thought if you did the best you could that all you could do and if you are happy doing it to each there own.

This question has occurred and reoccurred to me for years. I hate the question because my brain is entirely logical. I cannot come up with a mathematically, and scientifically sound reasonable answer for the question. I try to put it out of my head when I think about it. It always bothers me whenever I am doing mundane and boring tasks. That is when my brain begins to wander at an incredibly fast rate, and whenever I run out of things to process ad calculate, this question always and perpetually comes back. And therefore, I hate it.

Just go with the flow
Not everyone has a purpose

Personally, when really deep questions that even this kinds of brains happen and when it happens to me, I learn to leave it as it is. Everything has an answer but that doesn't mean it will become known. Sometimes it is never found or left unanswered. Agreed, I believe that actually knowing the meaning of life would make people's life seem insignificant and useless. We are better off not knowing why we are here. Then what happens in our life is a mystery.

I don't think for the individual them knowing would make it any less significant. I enjoy even from a philosophical point of view (not necessarily spiritual) to read the book of Ecclesiastes. Kind of funny when you realize the literal translation in that book would mean that parts of it (for the author) was he was feeling that life is meaningless.
-
If they know what the meaning of life is, then whatever they accomplish that is irrelevant and does not contribute towards fufilling the reason they are here will seem pointless and will make a person depressed because their time is wasted on something that they actually know is not nessecary.

For in much wisdom is much grief, And he who increases knowledge increases sorrow. (Ecclesiastes 1:18)

This is just my purpose:
-be as happy as possible; a minute of happiness lost, is a minute of happiness you will never get back.
-find love of my life; he's out there, and we found each other.
-and bring happiness to others, I try to, but not everyone though.
