Ok I'll try a new one. If it doesn't work, in a nutshell new York just made it so that viewing child porn is no longer a crime.Link doesn't work...

O my god this is a terrible decision
-
I don't agree with this decision however I can see where they went with it. I think something should be done that makes viewing it a crime as well as possessing.
-
I think its bs...I lived in nyc, just moved to MI in Feb. , and while living in nyc i recall watching people get arrested on the news for having child pornography on there computer... as for the article your refering Obsidian its not working when i search it on my phone.

YOU 1 nanosecond ago
That is bullshit...I lived in newyork for 20 years..u would be locked up in a heartbeat..also u would have to register as a sex offender..they put name up on walls in staten island..plus if anyone knew that u where arrested for that ...most likely u would get your ass killed..trust me.... -
What those people need is professional help it's not their fault
-
The law seems completely logical to me.

Example, you are searching the Internet for whatever porn you enjoy. You click on a link and it just so happens to be child porn. Even if you click off as soon as you notice, it would be a crime and you'd be arrested.
Now, with this law, you can accidentally click that video and exit off after you notice with being arrested. The law is logical and justified in my opinion.

But what about the people who don't accidentally click on the video? Sex offenders and such? Other than that, it's not a bad point...YOU wrote:

Doesn't really matter what NYC says. Child porn is a federal crime (making or viewing)

Well, they could download the video as it is in risk of being taken down or the uploader being arrested.🔰Superyan🔰 wrote:

Now they have broken the law. -

People that don't accidentally click it & repeatedly go on the site will be caught out by the traffic and server logs, also the ISP logs everything these days too.🔰Superyan🔰 wrote:

So it is easy to draw the line between repeated viewer & accidental click -
Huh. Kinda makes sense why they did it now.

This is so fucked up. What is this country coming to?

This is utterly absurd. I don't care of you accidentally click on it or not, there should be heavy consequences for that.

So your going through your daily porn site. And one video catches your eye, you decide to watch it.
Once the video starts you notice it's child porn and exit the video as fast as possible.
Do you deserve a couple of years in prison for that?
