Would this be a sign of possible (very) mild schizophrenia:
I talk to myself a lotWhen I should say something like "oh I have to go that way!" to myself I always say "oh we have to go that way!"
If I am arguing with myself over 2 conflicting ideas it's like I have 2 people inside of my head arguing
There is ALWAYS a song in my head, no matter what I do. It's like an iPod embedded in my skull with an unlimited playlist (which helps because I am a singer)
I have one side of me that wants more freedom and thinks people should do whatever they want:
I have another side that wants to take over the world.I'll add more "symptoms" as I think of them. Any ideas, or am I just being silly?

Do voices tell you to do things

I would ask a professional instead of an online forum.
Any shrinks out there? -
Schizophrenia means you hallucinate and hear voices. What you have is not schizophrenia.

There are positive and negative symptoms associate with schizophrenia that have to be evident for a specific period of time. Is the boice yours? Does it originate from outside of your head? Content- are they derogatory? Command in nature? The list goes on. Bottom line, if you are concerned speak to a professional. But be prepared, if you have that diagnosis you will be on medication, probably for the rest of your life. And then theres the whole stigma thing.

From what you have said, i would say no but via a forum isnt the ideal place ti give an informed opinion. Oh, im a Mental Health Nurse BTW.

How old are you, and how old were you when this began? Do you hear voices? Has your school performance slipped badly recently, or any sudden drastic changes in mood, attittude, or personality?
Schiz almost always sets in during the late teens to mid 20s. The above are early signs of possible schiz, with voices being the most obvious. If you're 16-24 and are hearing voices, seeing things, having drastic mood changes or a sudden change in your attitude towards life, then you should see someone. Schiz, when caught early (like many diseases), is more easily controlled.
Unless you're experiencing the stuff I listed above AND are in that age group, you probably don't have schiz and are just regular, plain old strange. 😜
