I just read that apple are ditching google maps for there own new maps. How will this effect TW. Will city boundaries and capo areas change? Don't know how long this is off happening.

No it is the ios app maps... Individual apps like tw just use the google api to show u the map, justlike u do when u browse on your pc on maps.google.com
