First off, it doesn't matter what religious preference you are, I just think my Aunt needs prayer and hope
She had a stroke, she's very young in my opinion to have a stroke. I am not a doctor, so I don't understand fully all of the implications that are happening yet. But things aren't really good at this moment. They had to transfer her from the hospital they originally took her to, into one is apparently better with handling the severity. She is under sedation, and they don't want to take her out of sedation until her blood pressure goes down. Apparently even with the pain medication, and other medication (I don't remember the name of the other one) her blood pressure is still very high. Anyhow this is a very difficult situation for her kids and grand children right now.

Sammy give it a little time for the meds to do there thing, it's going to be a long road ahead . But they do amazing things now. My prayers go out to your Aunt and you and family also

Update: I think the Doctor is wrong on some areas, or maybe when I hear the word "vegetable" I think it's more pessimistic and derogatory to use in the current situation. He basically said that "she's either going to be a vegetable the rest of her life, or die soon." (now I'm not God, or fate, or whatever) but when I think of vegetable I think of something that has absolutely no cognitive understanding. She's able to respond to certain things right now after they finally were able to take her off sedation, also when her asshole piece of shit of a boyfriend came to see her, her blood pressure spiked like crazy when he started talking, kind of leads me to believe she can understand more than they think. Because when he left it went back down. My cousins made it to where he can't get access anymore so now he's throwing a toddler like fit. Anyhow off topic. So her blood pressure is at a better level than before. Not the greatest but a lot better.

You have my prayers. And if the doc told you that I would strongly recommend getting a copy of her paperwork and calling around and geting a few opinions on her situation. Just from what you said about her blood pressure says a lot and I completely agree with you. Doctors are wrong all the time and make a lot of mistakes. What he told you was just his opinion and if that is what he believes then I don't see him giving her 100%.
