My girlfriend is wanting an iPhone, but she's not really bothered about what type so I was thinking of upgrading to the 4 and giving her my old one!! Thing is, there's so much bad press on the 4, should I bother or just wait for a bit?!

I've had no issues with dropped calls due to how I'm holding the phone. Can't be all of them

I'm using the new iPhone 4. It's amazing, definite improvement from the 3GS. Haven't had any reception issues, attenna/reception issue also completely moot point if you buy any case as it prevents the problem.

I just got a bumper for mine. I love it. It fixes the antenna issue, protects your phone, and looks pretty cool.

I got mine the first day.. I have yet to duplicate the loss of signal problem nor have I had ANY problems. I don't discount that there are folks that may have issues but I guess I got a good one. Plus at the end of the day who buys a 300 phone and doesn't get a cover.. just saying

The signal drop issue is not unique to the iPhone 4. I can reproduce the same thing on my new nexus one from google. The press conference was interesting. I liked the stats steve showed. I think the free bumpers is a good move and hopefully everyone can stfu about the antenna now.

where my bars are it says searching like all the time... but that's probably cause I'm in a no service area
