So who is gonna jump of the wagon and invest in Facebook? What do you think will happen to the company and it's stock once is publicly traded?

I think there will be a huge burst of "pioneer" investors looking to ride/drive the waive to its peak then dump the stock for a nice piece of change before the price plummets. Have you been reading the SEC unofficial filings on it?So who is gonna jump of the wagon and invest in Facebook? What do you think will happen to the company and it's stock once is publicly traded?
My Opinin is: I'm not sure that FB has to many places left to derive revenue from. I kind of see the public's interest decreasing and I think management is looking for an IPO to boost capital but as soon as the restriction is lifted I could see them selling shares. Something similar to the NextCard scandal less the hiding of liabilities part.
Anyways that's a total guess. I'll be watching though 👀

You must be one of those "Pioneers" I was talking abt. Lol I agree though. I would be surprised if the hype lasted 6months. Hope you make plenty $$I'm buying in. I'll be selling shortly, though. The stock has zero long term value. It'll be worth less than half the opening price within 3-6 months.

LinkedIn in the past there was some good opportunities to short sell too before. I haven't looked at it recently. I use to keep up on everything everyday almost all day, but lately have been being lazy which is dangerous is suppose even with limits.

I suppose*

For those that don't trade often there are apps you can get to practice trading to get the hang of it and help you practice. Although nothing compares to having your own money on the line.

Yea man stocks are kind of hard to keep up with. I prefer mutual funds. Guess I'm a bit lazy 😜 I'm sure there's plenty of opportunity to make money off this.... I am still not entirely sure. On the one hand, Facebook will have a huge band wagon of investors. Those who invest early on are sure to be able to reap the benefits of early spikes in price.
I am just not certain if the increasing prices will sustain? And for how long?
Another think I am not sure of is if Facebook will be a dividend stock? Could certainly change the scope of investments.

I don't think it'll pay dividends. If it does I would imagine that it would be much later when the price becomes stable... But who knows. Ya think apple will hit $1000 a share? First trillion dollar stock? Or will we have a Microsoft repeat? 😳I am still not entirely sure. On the one hand, Facebook will have a huge band wagon of investors. true. As for apple hitting $1000. I don't think it will happen anytime soon. I don't think it will have a repeat Microsoft. Apple stock has been in a fairly stable rise for some time now. But with Jobs our of the picture and the latest product releases only doing sub-par to par, we can't be certain how things will turn out. Apple certain has the potential to hit $1000 -

No one cares about your money more than you. I would never do mutual funds because of the lack of control in decisions. You should look into ETF's insteadSammy Guns🔫🌊🗻 wrote:
