Being from Texas, Cali people all seem like surfers and say stuff like "dude" and other things. But, I have met some pretty cool SoCal people and realize they are just as cool as texans!!!
No one surfs here, there aren't many blondes, and I don't know any movie stars. I watch baseball, go to the boxing gym, shoot guns, and drink (good) beer. We are more liberal than much of the country, and have our share of weirdos (but who doesn't), but otherwise we're normal Americans.

I'm from Texas and from Cali.
My family Is from California.
I was born in orange county.
I was brought and raised here in dfw Texas at 11 months old.
My bio dad and his side of the family still live there, I spend holidays and summers there growing up.
I say bro, dude, sup, y'all, sometimes I say ain't. I say nah, homie yo, true dat, your so very welcome. Sometime I have a twang when I'm drinkin w muh girl. Just depends in my mood and what feels natural at the time.My girl was born and raised here, she sounds like a hick to me 24/7 lol.
I mean, you asked. Stands to reason you would get variations of feedback. If Texas wasn't home, id say cali, but now I glady say both๐.
