Right now I'm on vyvanse for my ADD. I'm already on the skinier side, my appetite was already bad. After a day of school go out play baketball, come in have a sub from subway, and some curly fries. I can only eat the 10 curly fries and looking at the sub makes want to vomit and scream in terror. It's either this with other wierd side effects or my attention span is shorter than a buzz cut. Anything better than that for ADD?

Thts normal for amphetamines, try to eat a big meal before your morning dose and snacks thruout the day. Or switch to a non-er that is dosed twice a day and eat before each dose. If your younger, weight loss is serious if you cant find a strat that works tell your doctor.

Ok, my son was othe same thing. The problem is, he had to FORCE himself to eat everyday. If this is happening you MUST discuss this with your doc. This is a major side effect and they can help you with it.

I have to eat before my adderall or drink Gatorade for calories. I suggest the before you take meds. If it gets bad, ask MD for a different med

Strattera doesn't affect my appetite. It's also not an amphetamine. But it does improve focus. It's OTC in Canada, not sure about elsewhere. I can't compare to adderall or any others because I've never tried them. But like everyone else has said, Doctors know best.

I used to be on vivance and couldnt eat a lot and had a lot of trouble falling asleep and i switched to concerta and things have been much better, im 14 years old btw. I just moved from 56mg to 72mg and its still fine maybe ask about it next time?
