I believe he tried to just take a break, but had placed a bunch of his turfs off shore on water just before the ban came in, so alot of his turfs got torn down when the rule went into effect so I think that led to him quitting as well (I could be wrong)

He made his cleaning of SF which wiped out his reserves. Days later the water turf ban was announced and he lost his island, 99% of his turfs. With no time for his bank to replenish he either had to continue and rebuild loosing his power play position, or quit. He quit. You can find one of his turfs on Alcatraz, a proper memorial to the island of the devil.

When I first looked for it it was kind of scary, you zoom in then a little more then all the sudden a black blob out in the ocean. I wish I took a pic. I cant say he didnt have it coming tho, he wiped me out a couple times when I was a low level.

she quit...and her turf are really close to mine :)
