Nick, If I have a turf within the 1000 mile attack range, can I participate in a vendetta even though my actual mobster location is outside of that range?
-
Lol. I'm lvl 2, and there's a lvl 35 named fachen whos attacked me like 100 times now. Is that pathedic or what?

Yep, the new combat system that vendettas are based on let you attack within 1000 miles of anywhere you have a presence (either turf or your current location)
-
What about the opposite? If a player I'm targeting is outside of the 1000 mile range but has turf within range, will I be able to attack the player or just their turf?

Just the turf - but if you create a vendetta and invite people in their area, they can attack them for you.

But they do let you attack within 1000 miles of anywhere you may have turf. You just can't necessarily give support. I still think it's better this way. It makes you use more strategy and gives locals a fighting chance. Leave it the way it is I saynick wrote:

Very interesting because you can fight after the other members of a vendetta have lost all stamina. It should stay this way but it's an obvious glitchsupadizzle wrote:
Oh, another question..... how many times can you hit them... is it the stamina number of all of your members of the vendetta combined????
It depends on their available stamina. Let's say you and your buddy are attacking someone, and you have 5 stamina available and they have 2. They'll participate in the first 2 fights, but after that you're on your own.
In general, your vendetta members will fight with you as long as:
- they're within 1000 miles (1600km)
- they have enough stamina
- they aren't in the emergency roomPS I said in my response to patsy the distance was 1000km (600mi) - it's actually 1000mi, sorry for the confusion.

No. This way is screwed. It needs to be fixed. Otherwise, what's the point in joining a vendetta?
The point of joining a vendetta is to help smaller players against the bigger players. I have turf in three other states, and I can not help the smaller players in vendettas.
-
If a smaller player in CA or Vegas comes to me to help them in a vendetta, I really can't. Sure, I can attack, but it will sap their resources. So what then? Let them attack first? But I will offer no assistance because vendetta's are still broken.
Even if I zero turf for them, they won'tbe able to go in for the kill because I won't assisit.
Broken. Broken. Broken.
PLEASE fix.

Read the Vendetta help...it says they need stam for attacking only. The problem with bumping year old posts is they most often don't contain the info relating to any changes that were made.

And when the target of their V decides to retaliate, I will not participate in defending them. They're screwed.

Yes but at the same time the current way stops some one from outside an area invading with two other players also from outside an area and taking over everything. This current way means using more strategy and good area diplomacy
-
But it also means I can't get help to defend myself. Who is gonna join a V with me if it leaves them vulnerable on all fronts other players not targeted by the V can attack them, and then when the players in the V attack them they don't get help from me.
Wich means I gotta roll solo which I don't mind, but it's not as fun -

People close to me can't help. They are too far from the area of the V
