There was a thread deleted with a name that i wont mention in fear of Tha Big Bad Banhammer... 😂😂😂 But I was making a point in that thread that I think many people dont know... I was saying cigerette smoking was at least as addictive as herion or coke if not more and that studies have proved it... Heres a few links to those studies and information about those cancer sticks. Historical use of nicotine as an insecticide

Tobacco was introduced to Europe in 1559, and by the late 17th century, it was used not only for smoking but also as an insecticide. After World War II, over 2,500 tons of nicotine insecticide (waste from the tobacco industry) were used worldwide, but by the 1980s the use of nicotine insecticide had declined below 200 tons. This was due to the availability of other insecticides that are cheaper and less harmful to mammals. Currently, nicotine is a permitted pesticide for organic farming because it is derived from a botanical source. Nicotine sulfate sold for use as a pesticide is labeled "DANGER," indicating that it is highly toxic.[5] However, in 2008, the EPA received a request to cancel the registration of the last nicotine pesticide registered in the United States.[14] This request was granted, and after 1 January 2014, this pesticide will not be available for sale.

I believe that there is more to this story than meets the eye. Nicotine in itself (in the form it is in in cigarettes, anyway) isn't dangerous.
My immediate assumption would be that the pesticide is either in an artificially toxic liquid or powder state.

I admit, I am only speaking from a limited knowledge of each subject (nicotine, pesticides, chemistry etc.), so some research might be in order for my part.

60 mg of nicotine is a possible lethal dose for an adult. There's about 1 mg per cancer stick.

I personally found it easier to quit coke and heroin then cigaretts. Still can't quit those. Although, it might be bc they are legal...*pondering*

Ya I quit coke cold turkey...but cigs. I only want to because they are expensive. Ugh one day maybe.....

Sooo to the OP. thanks for postin this. I did not know it was used as a pesticide. That actually makes me wanna quit even more. I'll be sure to check the links after some more punching.......hmm new season starting, could do a new me. Ah fuck it. I'll try and quit right now. *crosses fingers in hopes to not fail* wish me luck
