Alright I just thought of this. It revolves around SOPA and WWII.
1. In WWII nazis invaded Denmark. The Danish cooperated and didn't really resist.
2. As the occupation went on, more people were resisting. There were multiple resistance organizations.

One such organization was called BOPA. Which sounds like SOPA. There was large resistance to SOPA, and BOPA was a Danish resistance group.

Anyone else find this a little creepy/ironic/ a weird coincidence?

Ummmmm while I don't believe in coincidence, I do believe you could weave a tale connecting these acronyms together. But it wouldnt be anything worthwhile of consideration... Or even actually anything important...
The same thing you are explaining is true for the IRA and the IRS... Ones a resistance. The other is a taxing government service.... Doesn't mean shit.

Borgelige Partisaner, Bourgeois Partisans, and was formerly KOPA, Kommunistiske Partisaner, Communist Partisans. The second thing after each explanation is the English translation.
