Amnesia, prophecy, premonitions and déjà vu

What interesting and/or creepy and/or downright annoying things have you experienced?
Amnesia:
Two days ago, I lost thirty minutes of my day. No shit: I'm 19, and I have already experienced a strong case of short term total memory loss. It really tripped me out.Deja vu: I experience this regularly. I have been so accustomed to it that I regularly recognise a conversation and can accurately predict what other people are about to do or say. It has also saved me whilst driving once or twice (hey, this is familiar - damn, there's going to be animals on the road around that corner) ... Needless to say, I slowed down, and there actually were animals on the road. I managed to avoid them.
Premonitions, deja vu free:
Lol. I was taking a piss several hours ago, and had an unlit smoke in my lips. I thought, 'wouldn't it suck if this somehow fell in the water.'
...and instantly I somehow dropped it ... Straight into the toilet water. Fml. -
You might just be an alien! 👽

I too have déjà vu frequently, I enjoy it as well, and other than that I swear my gf can read mind. More than once I'll be sitting there and casually think "hm I'm thirsty" and no sooner do I think it she asks if I want something to drink. Happens more than that but too lazy to type today. A bit hungover.
-
I get déjà vu often. Most of the time at school, I'll just recognise midway through a conversation or something..."I've heard this before..."
-
Déjà vu all the time. I also have been experimenting with automatic writing lately with weird results.
-
Déjà vu happens to me too. I swear that I always see the events in a dream right before I wake up. Then, the same thing happens at some point. Sometimes a few days, other times it takes a few weeks, and occasionally it happens after a month or two.
-
I've been resently noticing how something in my dream comes true.... It's just started and it might not actually happen the way it did in my dream...... For example I had I dream that water was flooding in my house and I fell down the stairs in the rush. A couple of days later I slipped down the stairs on a puddle of water. One of my friends swears when he's about to smack me in the head I'll know it's coming and duck.... Also when we play dogde ball at school and a ball hit me when I'm not looking(someone called my name) a fraction of a second before it hits me ill sence or feel it coming. when did this feeling start to happen???? I'm only 13 so I don't know if it's a age thing or something. Also in my dreams ill have a real bad feeling Of déjà vu like I'd drempt this before. Its really cool what you guys can do. I'm not up to that level yet but maby later I will....

I think deja vu happened much more when I was younger. It was pretty often, maybe once per month or so. Now I can't remember it happening for a couple years. Odd. I wonder if others have noticed a decline in this phenomenon with age?
-
I had déjà vu for dinner last night, I think.
I actually get some strange type of deja vu sometimes, but it's not really normal. I totally tune out, and have strange, almost painful thoughts of past dreams. It usually pushes me to the point of almost puking. Its really weird. -
I get premonitions and visions. Lots of people in my family do. My cousin can talk to ghosts. I might be seeing her later tonight so I can have her tell you a story or two maybe
-
The year I was about 7ish, I rode bus 48, my dad turned 48, and I kept seeing the number 48 everywhere. Really, everywhere I went that year, I saw the number 48. Maybe I'd get the 48th ticket, or always look at the clock on the 48 of the hour, but I noticed the pattern and told my mom a few times about how weird it was.
My mom was pregnant at this time. This would be my second brother or sister (I'm eldest). She was into her second trimester, past the big risk of having a miscarriage, so she'd started telling people she was expecting.
-
That year for spring break, my family went to Mexico with my grandparents. I don't remember much, but that it was a blast, and they had chocolate frosted flakes there. I went swimming a ton at the hotel, but the last few days I remember spending more time in he kids' club area.
Later, I found out that my mother had had a very bad miscarriage at the hotel. Really bad, like gushing blood. She had to go to the doctor, but since we were in Mexico, they messed up something (not quite sure what). When we went home, my mom was in a wheelchair because she was too weak to walk.
-
A few years later, while my mom and I were talking about my 48 faze, we wondered if it meant something. We started thinking back to that year, plugging in 48 related dates. As it turns out, that year, when my mom had her miscarriage, was April 8th—4/8.
We're not exactly sure what specific day her miscarriage was on, but we were definitely in Mexico on April 8th.

Wow at everyone's stories. Cheers for sharing! 👍

Ive had Deja-vu before. The most memorable time was when I was painting with a friend. I was sitting there, painting, and suddenly I felt as if I'd seen this before. It was right before I told him 'I think I just had a Deja-vu.' that I remembered that I had said that in my deja-vu. So from there on for a while I was trying(unsuccessfully) to change what I had seen in my deja-vu. Of course, my friend was witnessing this and thought i had gone crazy.

Omg, this is exactly what happens to me, and I'm 14. I'm not even being sarcastic. It has happened since like 3rd grade though.Add SUP wrote:

I've been having the same thing happen with 37. Everywhere I look there it is. I thought about it being march 7th, but nothing seemed to happen

At the start of last year, about this time actually, I had a dream that someone wearing boots stepped on my hand, the hand my wedding ring was on. They crushed it and ground their boot on my hand untill my wedding ring came off. During the dream I could hear a voice saying "divorce, divorce, divorce..." over and over again. I woke up and my wedding ring was actually gone from my hand. I freaked out and my wife woke up saying "what's wrong!?". I said "my ring, it's gone!". Then I saw something glinting on the carpet near the foot of the bed, it was my ring.
-
Now, my ring was a tight fit, it never usually fell off on it's own. I ended up dismissing it as I must of woken up in the night to get up to piss and it just fell off. Anyway, I have been estranged from my wife since November 2011 and I recently found out she has ripped me off for a lot of money and run off with another man. We are now separated and getting a divorce.

I believe I have seen the Grim Reaper twice in my life. Once when I was younger, some guys I knew who were into some heavy shit kept introducing me to this guy who was an ex-cop. this guy was a full on gun freak and a morphine dealer. For quite some time I thought something wasn't quite right about the whole situation. One night I took my "friend" to this ex-cop's house for a morphine re-up. I was made to sit in the car outside while my "friend" went inside. I was smokin' a cig when I looked over onto the front patio of the house and there it was... Just standing there holding it's scythe. Immediately I could hear a voice in my mind saying "death awaits, death awaits".
-
Within a month, the ex-cop turned up at my house on a motorbike, wearing one of those skull face masks. It was daytime and he wanted to borrow a volt meter. He said my other "friend" had sent him to get it as he was up at his place helping him work on a car. 2 weeks later a van I owned was torched outside my
house and my sedan had bricks hurled through the back windshield. -
