I mean seriously, how do you tell if your fish likes you? They don't purr or speak, they don't cuddle next to you when they sleep. I just don't know if my fish likes me!! It seems like all he ever does is try to drown himself.... Should I just send him to the toilet bowl in the sky? Or maybe just set him free?

If they swim upside down near the top, it's a sign of aggression. When they do that they hate you and you should flush them.

I think you should stare at it. If he breaks eye contact first, then he doesn't respect you and can't be trusted. Flush him. If you blink first, he's a keeper.

Take him out of his tank and give him a kiss, wait for him to smile and if he does then he likes you... If he doesn't then I'm afraid you will have to sacrifice him for the good of the relationship.

Be carefull tho! When mine flipped upside down, it went cross eyed, decided to pick it up to throw it down the loo, before I knew it half my thumb was gone:( takes me a while to punch codes now
