Real and Virtual Friends..

What is the real difference when it comes to emotional and/or physiological support?
I would suggest that the friends I made on here can be more supportive then RL friends at times. My reasoning: Virtual friends have nothing to gain o lose.. Their opinion can be brutally honest, with little fear of repercussion.. And their loss or leaving a game can have the same results as lossing a friend in RL.. Im sure we all had a moment when a virtual friend disappeared and was never heard from again.. You wondered what happened and you miss the consistency that they bought to the game, as well as, their comments and or ways of play.. So real life friends or virtual, their impact on you can be just as real in your life.. So take care of both of them..

I liked the first persons comment its true but in RL u know watt they say u can choose your friends but not family ;)

That's a really good point. Like, a best frien of mine for 6 years could bail on a planned BBQ, but if one of my tw friends say they are gonna be on pal at a certain time to talk, they are. But that's not to discredit the awesome RL friends I DO have. This WAS a good thread.

I wish add 812 was as active as he was when I started. He was my first friend in this game and he gave me some great advice. (btw I wasn't intentionally posting his code, it's his name)

I took over my home town but then people came and took over it 😿. Some virtual friends are good to have but you need your REAL friends even more. 👍👍. Good thread

It's always easier for me to talk to people in forums and on video games in general. It's just hard for me to talk to people who I don't know really well because I don't want to upset them.
