I had a close guy friend in hs and we were really into games (ps2 had just come out :/ im old) so for bdays or xmas we would buy each other used games that we could play together... If shes a dudechick like i was back then, something like that might be cool.

Or get her a cute t-shirt if shes not a dudechick. I dont know a single woman alive that doesnt appreciate the gift of clothing. Just make sure u include the gift receipt.
