One of my friends has one. He's homeschooled, so he does a lot of work on it. He has a large family and doesn't get to use a computer a whole lot, and he says it's awesome to have. I'm thinking of getting one, too.

I have one that has the numbers on the side as well as along the top. It makes it 500 times faster. Definitely get one.
-
Thanks guys I think I'm gonna get one now!👍

The bluetooth with numeric keypad works with iPod? Would be great for punching temps.

If you can afford it, I 100% recommend the Sony VGP-BKB1 Bluetooth® wireless keyboard. It cost around $80 but is by far the best that I have come across. I use it with my iPhone and it connects really quick.

I've got a Logitech. Found it at best buy I believe. I've had it for years.

Yup. Temps are so simple. You literally punch 40 per minute. More if you're really proficient. The bluetooth with numeric keypad works with iPod? Would be great for punching temps.

I used the term 10 key on here once and nobody had any idea what I meant. Lol. Happy to see that I'm not the only one that knows what it's called.vinnie the deal wrote:

When I first started punching codes I bought a imitation apple keyboard...$20 on eBay...works great but then I learned I needed to punch temp codes too. Well pecking the numbers at the top was taking forever. So I then bought a Microsoft BT 10keypad. I use those both together...keep those at work and the Sony keyboard at home.

Only started using one a couple weeks ago for punching in work. The best thing about it for me is that it is not half as aggravating when the code you typed in does not exist or if you mistyped. They connect perfectly via bluetooth so it's perfect. I'm doing way more codes because of it.

I think I could use one...
5 months and only 2.4k is definitely not the best achievement. -
I didnt use one on my old account (ipad) but when i tryed to start punching on this iphone, i literraly punched 2 codes and went to the store. Although i got a crap one that has difficulties to connect, once it is, punching temps i dont take my eyes of the screen, and makes it a lot faster...
On a side note: why has'nt anyone trolled this thread yet stating we are nolife codepunchers?
-
Because we all punch codes!
-
I got the Logitech keyboard a few days ago. I have big hands so it is hard to punch on the phone. I did 2k codes day before yesterday and really didn't even realize it. Best choice I have made

Thank all of you guys for your feedback!!😺

I was looking on eBay for one and I found a Microsoft keyboard and number pad. It was $25 I believe. Should I get it?

Yea I bought one last year right after I got my iPhone. I've tried using it a total of 1times for a total of 1 second. The buttons are too gummy (at least the one I have - which is pretty much the main one that pops up the most when u do a search for mini Bluetooth keyboard on google, amazon, etc.)Do u guys know anything about the mini Bluetooth keyboards and how good they are??
Waste of money in my opinion.I dug out my old Logitech Bluetooth keyboard with the10 key on the right hand side.
Just like the Sony that other ppl mentioned earlier, the return button on the numerical keypad dosnt work on my iPhone.
Kinda cumbersome to have to shift my finger back to the regular enter button, but short of that I agree it's def worth it.
The only thing that has prevented my mob from being any bigger is not having any time atm and bc I kinda don't want to outmob myself right now.
But the bt keyboard is the way to go. -
I use the apple bt keyboard. Made out of metal and super thin. Only downside is it doesn't have the number pad on the right.
-
You know you can use your other hand to press the enter button too! 😉
