Right Place....Right Time

As I was leaving my house today, a few things happened that slowed me down. I forgot my cell charger and had to go back to get it. I had to wait for a woman to unload her groceries to get out of my driveway. At the time, they just seemed like trivial nuisances. But as I was driving out of town, I saw an elderly man whose car was stuck on the tracks. I pulled over to help and rocked the car back and forth until he got out. He thanked me and drove away. I got back in my truck and left. Less than half a mile away, I passed a train. Then I realized that if I had been a minute later or a minute earlier, that guy would have still been stuck when the train came. Maybe it was coincidence, maybe it was fate. But I was definitely in the right place at the right time. Kinda crazy.

Life works in crazy ways sometimes man. It was fate. Good for you for helping him 👍

Good job, you saved a life.👍

Also, here my definition on fate:
'The individual of both living and non-living things that effect the outcome of an event.'
I believe in christianity in a way, not one solid branch but I believe God or whatever spiritual force or forces of nature do little to nothing to the physical world. They let it play out the way physics allows it to. Also, any form of spiritual intervention is little like paranormal ghost kind of spiritual intervention.
Also, good job on what you did. You saved a life and they do not even know it.

However, coincidental?
Nah. -

No idea what that is. Also, are you assuming this was a godly intervention of the outcome of fate?UnknownAssassin wrote:

A deist is a person who believes there is someone who created the universe but left it to our own devices. God has his own plans, and we are all a part of it. He had plans for both that man and for tommy dangerous.Add MajorFail wrote:

Well, I feel the big bang is the best idea. I don't think over details about how it happened since I need an understand years ahead of me in many physics-related fields and I accept it at that. What caused the bug bang is beyond me but I guess some spiritual deity could be behind it. If it was necessarily god I have no idea. There are thousands of religions, beliefs, faiths, etc. over human time and many much older than Christianity so I can't say God is the only god and he created everything.UnknownAssassin wrote:

Yes, and really what is karma? When you do something good a good thing will happen to you? That's correct to a degree; if I started being nice and helping people a lot, wouldn't you say it'd be likely that I'm helped by making new, good friends? Ones who might help me in the future? Now I don't know about huge things, like if I saved a life I'd win the lottery or something, but it is correct to a degree. IMOwhette fartze wrote:

Think of it like this, the bible says you reap what you sow, in other words what you do will have an effect, if it's good, good will come out of it, of it's bad, well, you know th rest, that's where America got the whole "karma" thing, making sense?

Goosebumps mate!!

Well the big bang if we all know was one of GODs fart like they showed on Family Guy, others believe was Stewie's time machine created the "Big Bang" ... Nah I'm just B-S-ing lol ... But I give props for you helping out that man, most people don't even stop for a car that's flip in the highway. Something good will come, you better hope is the jackpot on the Lottery, lol.

I'd definitely trade this "karma" for a mega millions jackpot. I'm just glad to be happy and healthy.
