Make sure you have cydia fully updated. Thats the only time i got such messages. When i let cydia get out of date.
Stupid question incoming: How do I update Cydia?

Even if you could downgrade o wouldnt. For best app compatibility and keeping nc id try with 5.1. Worst case youll be semi tethered which means if you have to reboot you will lose jailbreak compatibility until you get it to a computer.

Jailbroke every iPhone I've ever had. Couldn't live with out it now. Really opens it up to anything & everything.

My Iphone 4 , 5.1 is jailbroken, and i love it, you can do so much with it.
