Skin Care???
Forums › General Discussion › Skin Care???-
I recently started weight lifting to try and bulk up to make my hs football team and in the process I have gotten stretch marks on my arms I was told coco butter lotion would help get rid of them. I was wondering if it will work and how long will it take to get rid or make them less noticeable?

First off if anything it shows you work out and I think they stay there.I recently started weight lifting to try and bulk up to make my hs football team and in the process I have gotten stretch marks on my arms I was told coco butter lotion would help get rid of them. Depends on your skin. I also suggest pure aloe vera gel or drinking green tea as an alternative to cocoa butter.

I heard aloe also but green tea is a new one but if all else fails I'll just call them tiger stripes 💪🐯

Look at the products aimed at pregnant women... No joke.

I got them as a teenager just near my armpits after working out alot. That was many years ago now and they still there. Don't worry about it I say.
-
Tanning also makes them fade a bit. Though skin cancer is a risk.

Get some stretch mark cream put it on 3 times a day.
They will take a year to turn into silvery lines
-
They go away naturally, but i wouldnt worry unless your really vain or if it hurts

Take it from me: I've had a child and those stretch marks are/ will always be permanent. They fade to silver lines.
-
are the silver lines noticeable as much as how they are now some kind of purplish pinkish color?

Sherry here, nothing is patented to work like Mederma, now available OTC. Sara had a 4 inch scar on her neck, and now you can barely see it.

Using cocoa butter/stetch mark cream will improve their appearance, help stop new ones developing and help stop the skin splitting. That can be very painful!
