I played competitive paintball for like six years now, x-ball not to get confused with woods ball, but with your adrenaline pumping it doesn't hurt. Getting shot randomly up close doesn't feel to good though lol

I always just wore a set of army surplus bdu's. Keep your head down and always use cover, and when firing, expose as little of your body as possible for as little time as possible, and you should be fine.

I wanted to see what a paintball felt like too, and said so to the guy in charge. So the guy whips out a paintball gun and shoots me in the back from 5 feet, no padding.
