Logic , fruity loops , GarageBand , reason or ableton ????

Ableton and Protools

I've used Reason, Ableton, Pro Tools, Reaper, and others. Maschine is my current weapon. Any of them can work, although honestly I'd avoid Fruity Loops and Garage Band. (Both seem to have a signature sound and style that I don't like.) Are you using one already or looking to get into it?

I'm using logic 9 at the moment with maschine mikro what a tool !!! I can't wait for the new time stretch feature there gonna apparently put in an update soon!iv also got ni komplete8 pretty much. Sometimes use ableton for vocal stretching and sometimes GarageBand for simple synth noises for ease.
Do any of u have acsess to hardware synths ?

I produce/DJ dubstep and trance music using ableton live and traktor. Took me a while to get into the flow of how ableton works, but I've tried other programs and ableton has been the best.

My apologies. Didn't know you were asking between just those few. Logic, by far. Easy to work with, very capable, and a pretty decent soundPro Tools, without a doubt

Iv never actually seen pro tools but iv heard good things !! Logic is what I learnt on so I love it loads of cool features. Is that the korg m3 vocoder your on about ? Id love to have a crack on a vocoder u can get some cool noises from them !

Pro tools IMO was very hard to learn. There are so many ins and outs. And the certification test was a royal pain too. If logic was capable of what Pro Tools is, I would never touch pro tool again lol

Ableton I like best for composition and live performance. Pro tools for live instrument tracking and mixing. PT is the pro studio tracking and mixing standard (I own a pro studio) so it's a necessity in my world. But I've been using Ableton since version 1.

I'm i the only one with Cubase?

I want to get into producing, but spend way too much time mixing instead.

Triphop.
FlStudio. -
FL Studio for around 2 years now, still love it and it's lay out. Good thing about such program's are as soon as you've used all your samples/instruments too much and get bored, get some more VST Plugins and youre set to carry on with new sounds.
