1) The League is NOT an alliance. Examples of some alliances include CMS, ECS, & GC3. The League does NOT provide protection, mediate disputes, go to war, or enter into vendettas. The League is simply a unique organization created to host crazy-ass, friendly, in-game competitions & challenges between League members.

Example: Turf Horse - held on gas day and was a council members only competition.

2) The League IS GLOBAL. Competitions will be designed so that any member anywhere can participate. The types of competitions and the start times will vary so that eventually everyone will have an advantage.

3) The League Council runs The League. It is made up of 27 players specifically picked for their reputation, integrity, stature, attitude towards the game, & their competitive nature.

4) Only members of The League may officially participate in and win League competitions. However, we encourage everyone to follow along and even play at home (on their own), so to speak.

5) When the League is accepting new applicants, a thread will be posted in the GD forum. Follow the instructions posted at that time; failure to follow these simple instructions may result in a denial of your application. Do not pm council members. Do not inquire into your application status. You will be notified by pm when a decision has been reached. This may take up to week, so please excersize patience and restraint.

Well stated Mystery!

We're finally gaining some good momentum, getting some members inducted and should be able to start running weekly competitions soon. We are trying to limit growth initially because we don't want this to turn into a cluster.

I'm definitely ready for some crazy-ass competitions!!

Hey competition idea that could last a while. Each player must cap a turf beggining with each letter from the alphabet. And a really short one, each player caps one turf that they thing has one of the best names. Then at the end of the day(it dosnt matter what date) you vote on your favorite(players can't vote for themselves)

Appologies to the members of the league. The post mentioning the league as a alliance and a allie was now meant to offend. We will be replacing the general title of the league in our list of allies with the sole members who we have relations with. 🌇🌊🔨

No apologies necessary Davey, we're still trying to convey the concept of this to everyone.

You can think of us as an organized, weekend amateur sports league...we all get together to play whatever game we play, then when the game's over, we all go back to who we were & what we were doing prior.

Council members are a little more involved...establishing & organizing the events, & ensuring the League remains a respectable organization...but outside of the competitions & whatever League business there is, we are our usual personas.
