Anyone been the recipient of temp code punching? I guess a high number of invites would be a give away. How many did you get?

Didn't know about temp codes when I signed on so wasn't sure how well I did out of temp codes.

Seems punching temp codes is one of the areas that everyone gets told to do, just curious how well some people can do out of them. Is it conceivable that someone could start with 5k plus without having to punch? I didn't know about temp codes but I'm pretty sure I never got a huge amount of invites in a short period of time.

No, cause I reckon only 1 in 10 players are punching at any 1 point in time. Sure you have the compulsive punchers who punch all the time. Then you have the intermittent punchers (like me, I have had breaks in my punching). You also get those that punch to be big for their area (usually rural areas). And lastly the non punchers (because they have a life outside this game) who only accept invites. I think the majority of players fall into the last category. With very few compulsive punchers, and the other categories not all punching I would be surprised if anyone picked up more than a few hundred from temp punching.

I got about 10 a day for 5 days. I had no idea how these people got my code.

@hyena, you could be right. I don't know how many people play this game, but even 1 in 10 could be big figure.

@sunshine, 10 a day is nice but not as big an advantage I would have expected. Temp codes are so easy to do.

So you picked up 50, and that would include those who invite you because you are in their vicinity. That's not even as high a return rate as I thought.

I got 300 invites on my second day of TW, 250 the next, 100 the next, etc

You can get to about 1000 without punching codes but that is max

I got to 2000 by punching maybe 50 codes

I would have thought several thousand to be a realistic figure, surely it's just dependant on the total number of TW players?
