Also, do you know much of a burden of evidence is required to prove that soemthing CANNOT get something? Its enormous.

It isn't a cure all but 90% of cancers is great!!! I work oncology do it'd put a dent in my job security but I'd gladly go into another area of medicine if this is why!

Pharmaceutical companies can't make money off of a cure so it probably won't come out if there was one. Or maybe thats too "conspiracy theory" and I'm way off.

Actually, there are a lot of animals who are naturally immune to a wide selection of cancers.
When the animals' immune systems identify a cancer cell, a genetic tweak allows their bodies to launch a massive attack of white blood cells that kills the budding tumor. Now here's the cool part, some humans already naturally produce such anti-cancer white blood cells. That's why some people live without any tumor for life.

I work at a biotech/pharma focusing on oncology & yes, you are way off. Any company that developed a "cure" for cancer would be all over it: they would reap billions of dollars in profits and dominate the market. Cancer is a normal process of cells that becomes disregulated; as such, it is not "curable" like an infection but must be managed or reversed. So, even if cancer could be cured once it arose, there is nothing to prevent its reoccurrence.

If something happened to be created to ensure it wouldnt happen again was my thoughts on cure. Not treatment. I may be wording that wrong. Kind of like the 1% of Europeans who have a different CCR5-delta 32 they apparently cant get infected by HIV, that would be interesting if they could figure out how to use that with the rest of the population. My girlfriend had ovarian cancer before, horrible. She said she would rather just die if it happened again then go through the torture of treatment. She is a tough cookie though! I'm proud of her.
